Full-scale Training Needs Analysis for a Leadership Program

Βασικές Πληροφορίες

Project Description

A fully tailor-made Leadership and Effective Communication training program designed and delivered in-person for a company in the Occupational Health and Safety sector. The main objective was to strengthen leadership and communication capabilities within teams.

The training was built upon an in-depth Training Needs Analysis, ensuring that all activities directly addressed the participants’ everyday challenges. The program included hands-on exercises, practical tools, and relevant role plays. Additionally, a Personal Assignment allowed participants to apply learnings between sessions and reflect on their experiences during the follow-up.

Evaluation

Upon completion, participants filled out an anonymous evaluation questionnaire. Their written feedback highlighted the program’s thorough preparation, interactivity, and the trainers’ practical and engaging delivery.

When asked, “Would you recommend this program to others in a similar role?”, the average rating was 4.5/5, corresponding to an excellent Net Promoter Score of 72 (excellent).

Highlight

Before the design and implementation phase, a comprehensive Training Needs Analysis was conducted using three key methods. A Stakeholder Interview Helped define strategic learning pillars and identify specific development areas. The Focus Group Revealed team-level pain points and shared challenges. The Online Questionnaire Allowed all participants to individually express their needs and expectations.

The insights from this multi-level assessment shaped a fully customized learning experience, featuring role plays, training games, and real case simulations from participants’ work environments.

The program’s impact was clearly demonstrated during the follow-up session, where the discussion of participants’ Personal Assignments uncovered significant behavior changes and improvements in leadership practices, directly attributed to the application of the tools and concepts introduced during the training.
